DisplayNyx
Video wall software

Video wall software for any screens, no dedicated controller

Turn 2 to 64 screens into one synchronized wall entirely in software: bezel compensation, mixed landscape and portrait, and clock-synced playback, running on the Windows, Mac, Linux, or Android hardware you already have.

Video wall software

How it works

No dedicated controller box

The sync engine runs inside DisplayNyx's own player app on each screen's device, there's no separate video-wall controller hardware to buy, rack, or maintain.

Bezel compensation, entered in millimetres

Enter each screen's frame width and the picture continues behind the bezels, so a line or logo crossing a seam stays straight instead of visibly jumping.

Clock-synced, not master-slave

Every screen works out what to play from the current time, not from another screen, so a screen that reboots rejoins the wall at the right moment instead of throwing the whole wall out of sync.

Mixed orientation in one wall

Combine landscape and portrait screens in the same wall, and set each screen's own rotation to match how it's physically mounted.

What the software actually handles

Every plan, no add-on packs to negotiate for.

  • Grids from 2 to 64 screens
  • Bezel compensation per screen
  • Mixed landscape & portrait in one wall
  • Per-screen rotation to match mounting
  • Runs on Windows, macOS, Linux & Android
  • Deploy the same wall layout to multiple locations

Frequently asked

Do we need to buy a dedicated video wall controller?

No, the synchronization runs in software, inside the player app on whatever's already driving each screen. A standard Windows PC, Mac mini, Linux box, or Android device is enough.

How does bezel compensation actually work?

You enter each screen's physical frame width in millimetres on the Bezels tab, and the wall's picture is cropped so the visible content continues seamlessly behind the frames, keeping straight lines straight across seams.

Can a wall mix portrait and landscape screens?

Yes, orientation and rotation are set per screen, so a wall can combine both, matching however the screens are physically mounted.

What happens if one screen in the wall reboots or loses connection?

It rejoins the wall's rotation at the correct point based on the clock once it reconnects, rather than restarting the whole sequence or leaving the rest of the wall waiting on it.
