Roles that match how a chain is actually organized
Not everyone on a signage team should be able to touch everything. DisplayNyx's roles run from a workspace owner and admins down to managers and regular users - and a manager or user can be scoped to only the stores they actually run, so a single-location manager simply can't see or edit another store's screens, media, or schedules. Two special permissions - announcement access and store scoping - can be granted independently of role, so a manager can be trusted with live announcements without being handed admin rights to everything else.
MFA, remembered devices, and audit logs
Every account can enable two-factor authentication - an authenticator app or an emailed code - and a workspace owner can require it. "Remember this device" skips the second factor on a trusted browser for a role-configurable number of days, so daily logins from a store's own till or office PC don't turn into a chore. Every login, failed attempt, and lockout is recorded in an audit log an owner can review.
A dedicated, isolated database on Enterprise
DisplayNyx is multi-tenant software, but every Enterprise workspace gets its own dedicated database - not just a row-level partition inside a shared one. For franchise groups and larger chains handling their own compliance requirements, that's a materially different, stronger isolation guarantee than a typical shared-schema SaaS product offers.
